Dear Corbin Hill Community,
On Saturday, August 18th, we are inviting you and your families to come to Schoharie County with us to see just where our food comes from! And, of course, to get to know each other, eat a delicious meal (cooked by the farmers!), talk to our farmers, and spend a relaxing day in the country.
We are providing buses from Harlem and the Bronx. The trip is free, but we are asking for a refundable deposit to reserve bus seats. To reserve your spots, please bring $5 (per family) to the next Farm Share pick-up on Tuesday, August 7th. (You can also register the following Tuesday, August 14th, but seats are filling up quickly, so we strongly suggest you make your reservation on the 7th.)
If you plan on driving, please let your site leader know or send us an email so we know how many people to expect for lunch.
Here’s a general itinerary of the day:
Saturday, August 18th
12:30PM – all shareholders meet at Corbin Hill Road Farm for lunch, tours, talks, and a relaxing afternoon of outdoor activities
6PM – buses leave to go back to NYC.
9:30PM – estimated arrival in Harlem and the Bronx.
